    (*) Italy reported 300 coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday,
down from 401 the day before, the health ministry said, while
the daily tally of new infections decreased to 20,159 from

    Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said on Friday he would
personally take the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine but defended
this week's temporary suspension over concerns about possible

    An Italian prosecutor formally called on Saturday for
right-wing League leader Matteo Salvini to be tried for
kidnapping over his decision to prevent more than 100 migrants

school closures due to COVID-19 in squares up and down the

    Treasury announces sale of CTZ and BTPei bonds, with
relative amounts to be auctioned on March 25.

    The lawyers of the infrastructure group have asked the
consortium led by state lender CDP to cancel some 1.5 billion
euros of legal risk clauses from the 9.1 proposal for the sale
of Atlantia's 88% stake in motorway unit Autostrade per
l'Italia, Il Messaggero daily newspaper reported on Saturday.
Talks have been extended to March 27.

    Treasury minister Daniele Franco said on Friday the
government was "reflecting" on the idea of creating a unified

    Investor funds presented a slate of candidates for renewal
of the bank's board, proposing Francesca Tondi and Vincenzo

    Chief Executive Carlo Rosa told Corriere Economia that the
United States is a strategic market for the diagnostics group,

    Core earnings at aerospace group Avio fell 17.4% last year,
in line with the company's own estimates, as higher mission

agreement to produce 10 new Vega C launchers for the  period
