Australia's Whitebark Energy up as production resumes at Canada oil and gas field

** Shares of Whitebark Energy Ltd WBE.AX rise as much as
11.1% to A$0.020, their highest level since Oct. 4
** Oil and gas explorer says its Wizard Lake oil and gas
field in Canada has returned to production
** Says Rex-2 and Rex-4 production wells at the field are
now back in production while Rex-1 well will be returning to
production in coming days
** Says production from the three wells is estimated at a
rate of over 100 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day
** About 1.0 mln shares change hand compared to 30-day
average trading volume of 110,484 shares
** Whitebark down 76.0% YTD as of last close
