Halfords notes the announcement made on 9 April 2019 by Debenhams plc (the "plc"), that it has appointed Chad Griffin, Simon Kirkhope and Andrew Johnson of FTI Consulting LLP as joint administrators and the completion of the sale of the Debenhams Group, other than plc, to a newly incorporated company, controlled by its secured lenders.
 
David Adams, a Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director of Halfords, is a Non-Executive Director and this announcement is being made by Halfords in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(1)(R) for information purposes only.
