Board change
Halma, the leading safety, health and environmental technology group, announces the appointment of William Anthony (Tony) Rice as a non-executive Director (NED) of the Company, effective 8 August 2014.
Tony Rice was formerly CEO of Cable & Wireless Communications plc. Prior to becoming CEO, Tony was Joint Managing Director and Finance Director. Earlier in his career, Tony held a number of senior roles in Tunstall Plc and BAE Systems plc (including British Aerospace). Tony is also the Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee chairman at Spirit Pub Company plc. Tony has a BA in Business Studies from City of London College, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and is a member of both the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. 
Tony will be a member of Halma's Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
