TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
 Halma plc announces that on 22 July 2014, 5,106 ordinary shares held by the Company in Treasury were transferred to participants of the Halma plc Performance Share Plan 2005 in satisfaction of awards which vested in accordance with the Rules of the Plan. Following the above transfer, the Company holds 1,273,042 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 378,312,805.
