SEOUL, Jan 9 (Reuters) - South Korea's Hanwha Ocean is in talks with U.S. government officials to expand capacity and its property for shipbuilding in Philadelphia due to high demand, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, citing a U.S.-based executive.
Hanwha Ocean along with another affiliate owns the Philly shipyard.
Hanwha Defense USA is also partnering with HavocAI to develop 200-foot unmanned surface vessels, aiming for U.S. Navy supplier arrangements, the report said.
