       April 25 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on
Thursday:

        ** BHP Group  BHP.AX  bid $38.8 billion for Anglo
American  AAL.L , offering a deal to forge the world's biggest
copper miner and driving its smaller rival's shares 13% higher.

        ** Czech energy group EPH, controlled by billionaire
Daniel Kretinsky, is evaluating the possibility to exercise an
option to take over Italian group Enel's stake in main Slovak
electricity producer Slovenske Elektrarne, EPH's Chief Financial

billion to buy AssetMark Financial  AMK.N , in a deal that would
take the wealth management platform private more than five years

        ** Philippine conglomerate DMCI Holdings  DMC.PS  will
acquire cement maker Cemex Holdings Philippines  CHP.PS  for

    ** Shares of Hipgnosis Songs Fund  SONG.L  climbed  after
Apollo-backed Concord outbid a proposal by private equity giant
Blackstone  BX.N , launching a bidding war for the owner of
music rights of artists, including Shakira and Blondie.

    ** Saudi Arabia's STC Group  7010.SE  and sovereign fund PIF
may bid for the Austrian unit of Spanish mobile phone tower

    ** Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) said  it had
signed an agreement to buy a 49% stake in a 644 megawatt
portfolio of Spanish solar plants from Iberdrola  IBE.MC  for
203 million euros ($217.5 million).

said  it will launch a tender offer for Mimasu Semiconductor

Northern Ireland gas distribution network operator, Phoenix

million).

    ** Malaysian conglomerate Axiata Group  AXIA.KL  and
Indonesian group PT Sinar Mas are going ahead with plans to
merge their telecom operations in Indonesia to create a $3.5
billion entity, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar
with the matter.

Wednesday it will acquire Softbank-backed  9434.T  Invitae
