** Shares of cloud software vendor HashiCorp  HCP.O  jump
12.7% to $29.88 in extended trading  
    ** The company, which has a market value of $5.28 bln as of
last close, is venturing options, including sale, Bloomberg News
reports, citing people familiar with the matter
    ** HCP had exploratory talks with other industry players,
the report adds
        ** Co did not immediately respond to a Reuters request
for comment
    ** Stock fell 13.53% in 2023
