U.S. stock index futures edged lower on Friday ahead of data that will likely
show that the labor market remained strong, bolstering the case for another
outsized interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve later this month.  .N 
    At 7:38 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.05% at 31,647. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.06% at 3,966.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
down 0.17% at 12,271.75.
