Further to the announcement of 5 September 2019 and the completion of the sale of the Australian Businesses, Hawkwing plc (AIM: HNG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dwight Mighty, Company Secretary at Hawkwing, as a Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. 
 
Mr. Mighty was co-founder and Group Chief Operating Officer of Hawkwing, formerly TLA Worldwide plc, which floated on AIM in December 2011, by merging two sports businesses in the USA and, subsequently, acquired a further US baseball agency in 2012 and an Australian sports marketing business in 2015. 
 
Prior to Hawkwing, between January 2007 to January 2011, Mr. Mighty was Group Chief Financial Officer and then Group Chief Operating Officer of Essentially Group, which was listed on AIM. During that time, he oversaw the acquisition of nine businesses over three years and the sale of Essentially Group to Chime Communications Limited. Prior to Essentially Group, Mr. Mighty worked in various senior roles in corporate finance, private equity and banking including Gresham Private Equity, Montagu Private Equity and HSBC.

Other than as set out below, there are no other matters required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules for Companies as regards Mr Mighty's appointment. Mr Mighty holds 4,161,740 shares in the Group.

Mr. Mighty was a director of Critical Care Transfers Limited ("Critical Care") from 7 April 2011 to 14 June 2012. Critical Care was put into administration on 14 June 2012 that ended on 11 December 2013 with the company subsequently dissolved on 16 May 2017. The shortfall to creditors was £125,586.52.
