** Activist investor TOMS Capital Investment Management has acquired a sizable stake in Devon Energy DVN.N and is pressing the U.S. shale operator to sell assets or put itself up for sale, five people familiar with the matter said.

** Brazilian conglomerate Cosan <CSAN3.SA> said its Radar unit has agreed to sell part of its farmland portfolio in Brazil's Mato Grosso state for 1.85 billion reais ($363.27 million), of which about 586 million reais corresponds to Cosan's stake, as part of its divestment and deleveraging strategy.
