** Shares of community lender CNB Bank Shares CNBN.PK jump as much as 14.9%; last up 11.9% at $25.06

** Larger rival HBT Financial HBT.O will buy CNBN in a $170.2 million deal, the banks announced on Monday

** CNBN shareholders can receive either 1.0434 shares of HBT stock for each share held or $27.73 per share in cash, or a combination of cash and stock

** Deal expected to close in Q1 2026

** As of last close, CNBN stock up 17.9% YTD
