** Co says more patients lost health insurance exchange coverage, increasing uninsured patient volumes in the second quarter
** HCA lowers its 2026 EPS forecast to $28.70-$30.50 from $29.10-$31.50 previously; FY revenue forecast narrows to $77.0 bln-$79.5 bln from $76.5 bln -$80.00 bln
** Preliminary Q2 revenue rises to $20.23 bln from $18.61 bln a year earlier, above analysts' estimate of $19.43 bln - data complied by LSEG
** Co recognizes about $400 mln of incremental benefit from Medicaid supplemental payment programs, primarily related to Florida
** Peer hospital operators Tenet Healthcare THC.N, Universal Health Services UHS.N and Community Health Systems CYH.N all down ~2% premarket
** As of last close, HCA down ~16% YTD
