HD Hyundai Heavy signs contract with Peru's Navy to jointly build submarine
SEOUL, Dec 21 (Reuters) - HD Hyundai Heavy Industries 329180.KS said it had signed a contract with Peru's Navy and Peruvian state-owned shipbuilder Sima to jointly build a next-generation submarine, according to an emailed statement on Sunday. The shipbuilding will begin in January and be carried out over 11 months, the company said of the contract signed on Friday, without disclosing the value.
