India's HDFC Asset Management rises on bonus issue plan

** Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company HDFA.NS rise 2.5% to 5657 rupees

** Company said it will consider issuance of bonus shares on October 15

** Stock set to rise for a third straight session, gaining 3.3% in the period

** Nearly 555,000 shares traded as of 2:40 p.m. IST, double their 30-day avg

** HDFA up 31.5% so far in 2025, outperforming peers like Nippon Life India Asset Management NIPF.NS, which is up 20%, and UTI Asset Management UTIA.NS, which is down 1%
