RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.42% versus the U.S. dollar to 92.80, as optimism about peace talks between the U.S. and Iran complemented recent central bank measures to shore up the Indian rupee. INR/]
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN064835G=CC was quoted at 97.01 rupees, with the yield up nearly 3 bps at 6.9153%, ahead of a heavy debt sale, while firm oil prices kept inflation risks elevated, even after U.S. President Donald Trump said the Iran war could end soon. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was up 1.25 bps at 5.8125%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC rose 5.5 bps to 6.4225%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.15%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 4.95%
