Appointment of Chief Financial Officer 
Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD), Europe's largest distributor of floorcoverings, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Payne as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of the Board. Chris will join the Company on or before 8 November 2017. A further announcement on the exact timing will be made in due course.
Chris, 44, is currently Group Commercial Finance Director at Biffa plc ('Biffa'), a leading UK integrated waste management company, where his responsibilities include overseeing all the operational finance teams and divisional Finance Directors. 
Chris joined Biffa in July 2013 as Finance Director of the Industrial and Commercial Division, and was previously at Mitie Group plc, the facilities management and consultancy company, between January 2008 and July 2013 where he held two divisional Finance Director positions.
Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained with KPMG and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
