Exercise of share options and Director/PDMR shareholding
 
Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD), Europe's leading floorcoverings distributor, announces that Steve Wilson, Chief Executive, has exercised an option to purchase 7,874 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at an option price of £3.81 under the Company's Save-As-You-Earn ('SAYE') share option scheme. Following the transaction, Steve Wilson has increased his beneficial shareholding in the Company to 665,146 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.78% of the Company's issued share capital.
7,874 Ordinary Shares were transferred from treasury stock for the purpose of satisfying the above exercise of share options, and following the transfer the Company now holds 568,144 Ordinary Shares as treasury shares.
The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 84,795,599, with one voting right per share.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 84,795,599.
The above figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
