Notice of cyber security incident 
 
Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD), Europe's leading floorcoverings distributor, announces that it has been subject to a cyber security incident which involved unauthorised access to some of its computer systems. 
 
Certain back office systems were affected, including the email system which has now been restored. The Company's operating ERP system, containing customer and supplier information, was not accessed, and there has been minimal impact on operations following the incident with uninterrupted servicing of customers. Additionally, the Company's payroll system is held offsite and was also unaffected. 
 
External forensic cyber security experts have been appointed whose investigations are ongoing. The incident perpetrator is a well-known newer organisation which has carried out multiple such incidents recently. There is currently evidence of extraction of a small amount of data, and the Company has notified the relevant regulators and law enforcement agency, including the Information Commissioner's Office.
