** Shares of silver miners fall, tracking a decline in prices of the metal GOL/

** Spot silver XAG= down 4.6% at $69.52/ounce, as the dollar strengthened after reports that the U.S. will deploy thousands of additional troops in the Middle East, further fanning concerns of higher oil prices, inflation, and elevated interest rates

** Hecla Mining HL.N drops 3.2%, Coeur Mining CDE.N falls ~1%

** Canadian miners Endeavour Silver EDR.TO and Silvercorp Metals SVM.TO fall 4.9% and 3.2%, respectively

** Abrdn Physical Silver Shares ETF SIVR.P and iShares Silver Trust ETF SLV.P each dip 3.8%
