Silver miners rise as dollar softens and Strait of Hormuz remains open

** U.S.-listed shares of silver miners rise premarket, tracking prices of the white metal GOL/

** Spot silver XAG= last up 3.8% to $81.41 per ounce

** Prices rise due to softer dollar and comments from Iran’s foreign minister that passage through the Strait of Hormuz remains open during the ceasefire

** Shares of miners Hecla HL.N and Coeur CDE.N up ~4% and 3.6%, respectively

** Canadian miners Endeavour Silver EDR.TO, EXK.N and Silvercorp Metals SVM.TO, SVM.N advance 3.7% and ~2%, respectively

** Abrdn Physical Silver Shares ETF SIVR.P and iShares Silver Trust SLV.P both inch up 3.4%
