** J.P. Morgan downgrades Dutch brewer Heineken HEIN.AS to "neutral" from "overweight", citing uncertainties surrounding leadership and a lack of strategic clarity
** "The stock is unlikely to outperform in the near term while the market awaits the appointment of a CEO and the subsequent unveiling of an updated strategy," JPM says
** It lowers its PT by 22% to 70 euros from 90 euros as the potential for another transition year under a new executive limits the chances for a valuation re-rating
** The brokerage adds that recent volume outperformance was largely driven by favourable timing effects like Easter and relatively easy year-on-year comparisons
** "Additionally, there is a risk that further investment may be necessary to reposition the equity story, even if current valuation and YTD performance appear attractive," it says
** Of 25 analysts covering Heineken, 16 rate it "buy" or "strong buy", eight "hold" and one "sell" - LSEG data
** Stock down 8% YTD
