** Stock set for best day since late March, 2020

** Insurer's FY profit rises to A$244.9 mln ($173.2 mln) from year-ago A$231.5 mln

** Co announces special dividend of 67 Australian cents/share, along with ordinary dividend of 16 Australian cents/share

** About 1.4 million shares traded, 1.8x the 30-day avg

** YTD, HLI gains 15.8%
