Adds details in paragraphs 3-5, dividend in paragraph 6
Feb 26 (Reuters) - Greek oil refiner Helleniq Energy HEPr.AT on Thursday reported a 10% rise in full-year adjusted core profit, boosted by strong refining margins, record marketing performance and growing contributions from its expanding power and renewables business.
The group posted full-year adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 1.13 billion euros ($1.33 billion), up from 1.03 billion euros a year earlier.
Refining output reached 15 million metric tons, slightly lower due to a planned turnaround at the Elefsina refinery, but refining sales volumes held at 15.6 million tons, with exports accounting for more than half of the total.
Stronger global refining margins and improved crude sourcing following the launch of the group's Geneva‑based trading arm supported profitability, it noted.
Helleniq Energy said international operations now account for roughly 40% of group earnings, reflecting growth in overseas marketing, which delivered a record adjusted EBITDA of 89 million euros.
The board will propose a final dividend of 0.40 euros per share, bringing the total full-year payout to 0.60 euros, up from 0.45 euros last year and implying a 7% dividend yield.
