** Shares of Australia's Helloworld Travel HLO.AX rise as much as 3.6% to A$1.73, their biggest intraday percent gain since September 19

** Travel distribution firm acquires the remaining 50% stake in mobile travel agency business, Mobile Travel Holdings for nearly A$36 million ($23.39 million)

** The acquisition of remaining stake increases Helloworld's total investment in Mobile Travel to nearly A$50 million

** YTD, HLO down 11.8%
