India's Hero MotoCorp gains after quarterly profit rise Aug 7 (Reuters) - Shares of India's Hero MotoCorp HROM.NS rose about 2.1% in early trade on Friday, after the two-wheeler reported a 29% surge in profit after tax the previous day.
Analysts from Citi said Hero beat EBITDA estimates despite lower-than-expected gross margins due to cost reduction efforts.
