India's Hexaware CEO Srikrishna quits, EXL veteran named successor (updated)
UPDATE 1-India's Hexaware CEO Srikrishna quits, EXL veteran named successor adds more details from paragraph 3
Sept 2 (Reuters) - Indian IT services firm Hexaware HEXW.NS said on Wednesday that Vivek Jetley, a senior executive at Nasdaq-listed EXL EXLS.O, would take over as its CEO, effective October 28.
The company said Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan had resigned as CEO to pursue personal interests and will be relieved of his duties next month. He held the post for over a decade and also oversaw Hexaware's listing on the bourses last year.
The resignation comes as Indian IT services firms face the double whammy of AI-related disruption and macro overhang that is forcing clients to tweak tech spends.
Hexaware, the country's 10th-largest IT firm by revenue, cut its calendar-year 2026 annual forecast to 6% to 7% from a prior view of at least 7.6% after its June quarter results.
Jetley joins Hexaware after a two-decade stint at EXL where he was a president and led the insurance, healthcare and life sciences business.
