Hexcel Corp falls after new CEO appointment

** Shares of carbon fiber tech firm Hexcel Corp HXL.N fall
10.1% premarket
** Co said it had appointed Thomas C. Gentile as new CEO as
of May 1 and reaffirmed its guidance for 2024
** He will succeed Nick Stanage, Hexcel's chairman and CEO,
who worked closely with the board on his desire to retire at the
end of the year, the company said
** Stanage will become executive chairman of the board to
ensure a smooth and successful transition until his retirement
on December 31, 2024, it added
** Hexcel Corp shares lost 3.53% YTD
