India's HFCL gains on winning orders worth 670 million rupees

** Shares of India's HFCL  HFCL.NS  rise as much as 2.92% to
68.70 rupees apiece
    ** Rise after the telecom infrastructure services provider
and its unit secures purchase orders aggregating to 670 million
rupees for supply of optical fiber cables to one of the domestic
telecom service providers
    ** Orders to be executed by April 2024, HFCL says in an
exchange filing
    ** HFCL among top gainers in Nifty small-cap 100
 .NIFSMCP100  index, which is up 1.3% to a record high
    ** Including today's gains, HFCL down 7.6% in 2023 so far
compared to 48.21%  rise in small-cap index  .NIFSMCP100
