** The technology firm reports 2% year-on-year drop in consol profit, rev falls nearly 5%

** Rev drop due to a 13.5% fall in income from contracts and services segment

     ** More than 23 million shares traded vs 30-day avg of 18 million shares

** Stock down 33% YTD
