U.S. stock indexes fell on Tuesday after industry bellwethers 3M, Johnson &
Johnson, and GE beat expectations for profit but warned of a challenging year
ahead. .N 
    At 10:55 A.M. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.08% at
33,657.42. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.09% at 4,016.28 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.08% at 11,355.322.
