HilleVax rises on resumption of gastroenteritis vaccine study

    ** Biopharma co says an independent safety committee
recommended continuation of a mid-stage trial for its vaccine
against gastroenteritis caused by norovirus  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nGNXbTxKPG
    ** The committee reviewed data from 203 infants in the
study; co says it has now resumed enrollment of remaining
subjects in the trial
    ** Co plans to enroll 3,000 subjects in the trial for
gastroenteritis- an infection of the intestines that typically
causes diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
    ** Anticipates data on immune response in initial subjects
earlier-than-expected in Q4
    ** Including today's gain, stock down ~37% since its April
debut
