Himax gains on better-than-expected quarterly results

** Shares of display imaging chipmaker Himax Technologies
 HIMX.O  up 5.91% at $9.68
    ** HIMX records Q4 profit per diluted ADS of 14 cents, above
co's forecast of 9.3 cents to 11.0 cents, helped by lower costs
    ** Co posts Q4 net rev. of $237.2 mln, up 4.2% YoY, driven
by stronger order momentum across product lines
    ** Adds HIMX is well-positioned to capitalize on trend of
premium notebook to adopt OLED displays and touch features
    ** Expects Q1 2025 revenue to decline 8.5% to 12.5% from the
previous quarter
    ** As of last close, stock was up ~33.60% YTD
