India's defence stocks gain amid India-Pakistan tensions

** India's defence stocks .NIFTYINDDEFENCE up 1.6%, taking gains to 0.6% in two sessions since India attacked Pakistan early Wednesday

** Defence stocks up 3.8% since April 22 attack in Indian Kashmir, while benchmark Nifty 50 .NSEI is up 1%

** The tensions may lead to increased defence spending through the year, says Bernstein

** Defence companies' order books to get larger, pace of execution to increase, possibly boosting revenues and earnings forecast, says Vikas Gupta, CEO and chief investment strategist at OmniScience Capital

** On the day, Paras Defence and Space Technologies PRAF.NS and Bharat Dynamics BARA.NS gain about 2.5% each

** Bharat Electronics BAJE.NS and Hindustan Aeronautics HIAE.NS up 1.1% and 1.4%, respectively
