India's HPCL buys 2 million barrels of Oman crude, traders say

NEW DELHI/SINGAPORE, May 6 (Reuters) - India's state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corp HPCL.NS has bought two million barrels of Oman crude for delivery in July, traders said on Wednesday. HPCL bought the oil from Vitol at a discount of 10-20 cents to the June dated Brent price, the traders said. The companies typically do not comment on their commercial deals. Oman crude is exported from the terminal at Mina Al Fahal outside of the Strait of Hormuz.
