** HPCL HPCL.NS leads the pack's losses; down 2.6% at 367.9 rupees

** BPCL BPCL.NS falls 2.1% to 288.8 rupees and Indian Oil Corp IOC.NS declines 1.8% to 137.8 rupees

** India raises petrol and diesel prices for the first time in four years by 3 rupees per litre, according to retailers in Delhi

** Move to recoup some of the losses incurred due to higher global crude oil prices

** Stocks muted as Brent Crude futures LCOc1 continue to rise; last up 1.2% at $107.04 a barrel

** Nifty Oil and Gas .NIFOILGAS index down 0.7%
