Indian fuel retailers rise on price hike, oil price drop

** Indian Oil Corp IOC.NS, BPCL BPCL.NS and HPCL HPCL.NS rise between 3% and 4.5%, drive oil and gas index .NIFOILGAS 1.2% higher

** India raises fuel prices for fourth time in May - diesel by 2.71 rupees, petrol by 2.61 rupees on Monday

** State fuel retailers, which control 90% of market, began raising pump prices from May 15 after elections were over in some key states

** Brent crude down 5.8% at $97.50 per barrel, falling below $100 per barrel for first time in more than two weeks on U.S.-Iran peace deal hopes O/R

** YTD, IOC down 13.2%, while BPCL and HPCL down about 20% and around 19%, sub-index down nearly 6%
