Indian state retailers' July gasoline and diesel sales decline m/m, data show NEW DELHI, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Indian state-run fuel retailers' gasoline and diesel sales in July declined from June, as rains dampened demand from the agriculture sector and curtailed mobility, preliminary fuel sales data show.
India's gasoline sales declined 1.1% from June to 3.45 million metric tons. The sales, however, showed an increase of 9.7% from July 2025, the data showed.

Jet fuel sales declined 4.6% from June to 659,999 tons. July jet fuel sales were up 2.9% from a year earlier, the data showed.
Sales of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), mainly used as cooking gas, was at 2.37 million tons in July, up 8.6% from June, the data showed.
July LPG sales were down 17.4% from a year earlier as the government is boosting supplies of natural gas to households.
