TOKYO, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Japanese city gas supplier,
Hokkaido Gas Co 9534.T , said it struck a basic agreement to
buy two to three liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes per year
from Mitsui & Co 8031.T for 10 years starting from April 2019.
The cargoes would total between 130,000 tonnes and 200,000
tonnes per year, Hokkaido Gas said in a statement on Friday.
Mitsui & Co can sell from its own portfolio contracts
without specifying any particular projects for supplies,
Hokkaido Gas said.
Hokkaido Gas will receive the gas at its Ishikari LNG
terminal in northern Japan.
