March 28 (Reuters) - Cariboo Gold Mines Plc  J16.BE  
    * Completes purchase of Holmes Investment Properties 
    * Has acquired 100 pct of issued share capital of Holmes 
Investment Properties Ltd 
    * Agreed purchase price is 57.5 million euros (£50 million) 
with consideration to be satisfied by issue of new shares 
    * Issue of new shares at a price of EUR 0.10 cents per share 
in Cariboo Gold Mines Plc. , total of 300,000,000 new ordinary 
shares and 300,000,000 new preference shares 
    * Preference shares are freely convertible into ordinary 
shares at a price of EUR 0.10 cents per share
