Home Depot beats quarterly sales estimates
May 19 (Reuters) - Home Depot HD.N beat Wall Street estimates for first-quarter sales on Tuesday, helped by resilient demand from professional customers and homeowners taking up smaller budget-friendly repair projects. The company posted quarterly sales of $41.77 billion, compared with analysts' estimates of $41.52 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
