U.S. stock indexes edged higher on Tuesday, boosted by
technology shares as investors weighed Anthropic's announcement
of new AI tools as well as President Donald Trump's shifting
stance on trade policy. .N 
     
At  10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was
up 0.91% at 49,247.98.The S&P 500  .SPX  was
up 0.62% at 6,879.96, and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was
up 0.91% at 22,832.70.
