The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose marginally on Tuesday, with an imminent interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve priced in, while investors assessed the future of U.S. AI chip exports to China. .N

At  1330 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.24% at 47,626.04. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.10% at 6,853.40, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.29% at 23,612.58.
