** Shares of Jessica Alba's Honest Co  HNST.O , which makes
eco-friendly baby, beauty and household products, up ~7% at
$2.90
    ** HNST names former Amazon.com Inc  AMZN.O  and General
Mills  GIS.N  executive Carla Vernón its new CEO, effective Jan.

    ** Vernón to replace current CEO Nick Vlahos, who will step
down after a near six-year tenure but remain on HNST's board
    ** Vernón recently served as vice president of AMZN's
consumables categories division, and has spent over two decades
at GIS in several leadership roles
    ** YTD, HNST down ~64%
