Wall Street's main indexes gained on Thursday ahead of more commentary from
Jerome Powell after the Federal Reserve chair stuck to the script overnight by
saying the central bank still expects to cut rates later this year.  .N 
    
    At 10:40 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.49% at
38,851.6. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.88% at 5,149.8 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.15% at 16,216.399.
