LME says to launch contract using Shanghai Futures Exchange steel price LONDON, June 17 (Reuters) - The London Metal Exchange signed a deal on Wednesday with the Shanghai Futures Exchange to launch an LME contract based on the Shanghai exchange's steel contract, the LME said.
The LME, the world's oldest and largest market for industrial metals, said trading of the contract was due to begin in October.
