** Shares of life insurer Equitable Holdings  EQH.N  rise
4.6% to $32.69 premarket 
    ** Stock on track to hit its highest level in over nine
months if gains hold 
    ** EQH set to join the S&P MidCap 400 index, effective at
opening of trading on Dec. 18, along with Houlihan Lokey  HLI.N 
    ** Cos to replace Vestis  VSTS.N  and Topgolf Callaway
Brands  MODG.N  in the index 
    ** EQH stands at a market cap of $10.58 bln, with 338.5 mln
outstanding shares as of Dec. 1, according to LSEG data 
    ** Stock up 8.9% YTD as of last close
