NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTION IN SHARES BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Company was notified today that on 18 March 2016, Sarah Jane Cockburn (the wife of Clive Cockburn, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person discharging managerial responsibility within the Company) sold 6,850 shares at price of 466.3 pence per share.
Following the sale, the total holding of Clive Cockburn (including shares in his wife's name) is 42,598 shares (less than 0.01% of the Company's share capital). 
This notification is made pursuant to the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a).
