Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 1 December 2015 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 524.56p per share:

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 8,500,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 643,330,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
