Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 26 February 2016 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 494.24p per share:

Highest purchase price paid per share:

Lowest purchase price paid per share: 
492.00p
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 9,552,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 642,278,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
